Intuit Mailchimp launches analytics AI and expands data integrations
Intuit Inc. (NASDAQ: INTU) announced the launch of Analytics AI, a conversational analytics tool within its Mailchimp platform that allows marketers to ask questions in natural language and receive strategic recommendations. The company also expanded integrations with Claude, Wix, and WooCommerce to unify ecommerce data.
Analytics AI analyzes campaign performance, audience behavior, and revenue outcomes without requiring manual dashboard creation or report exports. The tool connects to ecommerce data from platforms including Shopify, WooCommerce, and Wix alongside Mailchimp campaign history to identify patterns and provide recommendations.
"Ecommerce brands tell us they have too much data but are starving for actionable insights," said Diana Williams, VP of Product at Intuit Mailchimp. "Analytics AI starts by eliminating the gap between data and decision."
The company also introduced AI Segment Builder in beta, which allows marketers to describe their target audience in plain language and automatically builds segments using behavioral, demographic, and engagement data.
Mailchimp launched applications for ChatGPT and Claude that enable users to draft and refine campaigns using conversational prompts. The campaigns can then be launched directly within Mailchimp.
Additional features include one-click activation of the Mailchimp Site Tracking Pixel for WooCommerce and Wix merchants, deeper integration with Canva for email design workflows, and expanded SMS signup options for regulated industries including age-gating for alcohol brands.
Analytics AI is available to all Mailchimp customers with paid plans globally. The Mailchimp applications are available in Claude and ChatGPT for users in the US, Canada, UK, and Australia. Age-gating for SMS launched May 28 in select countries.
