May 28, 2026 9:16 AM

Fabric.AI (NASDAQ: FABC) announced it has engaged executive search firm Egon Zehnder to find a senior project management executive, according to a company press release.

The AI infrastructure company said the new executive will help coordinate engineering, product development, partnership, and commercialization activities across the organization. Fabric.AI develops fabless semiconductor technologies for AI data centers.

The search follows recent organizational developments at the company. Fabric.AI named Bill Maffucci as Head of Development for its Neural I/o chip program and entered into non-disclosure agreements with two semiconductor companies to explore technology applications.

The company is developing MicroLED-based optical interconnects through its Neural I/o program in collaboration with Kopin Corporation. Fabric.AI stated these interconnects are designed to address data movement bottlenecks between chips in AI data centers.

"We are building a company with the ambition to solve real bottlenecks in AI infrastructure, and that requires real operating discipline," said Josh Silverman, Chief Executive Officer of Fabric.AI.

Egon Zehnder operates across 37 countries with more than 600 consultants. The firm's Technology and AI Practice focuses on identifying executives for rapidly evolving industries.

Fabric.AI previously operated a digital asset treasury strategy before shifting focus to AI infrastructure. The company's current mission centers on developing semiconductor solutions for AI workloads and data center optimization.
