CGI (TSX: GIB.A) (NYSE: GIB) announced it has been awarded a contract by The School District of Osceola County, Florida to implement a cloud-based enterprise resource planning system following a competitive procurement process.

The technology services firm will implement its CGI Advantage ERP platform to replace what the district describes as fragmented, aging technology systems. The platform will integrate financial management, procurement, performance budgeting, and human capital management capabilities into a single system.

"We are excited to partner with CGI to implement a modern ERP system that will strengthen our district's operational efficiency and ensure our schools have the support they need to serve students effectively," said Peter Thorne, CIO of the School District of Osceola County.

The CGI Advantage platform includes artificial intelligence capabilities, including a generative AI chatbot called Samantha and an embedded support tool called Advantage Assistant. These tools are designed to help users access information and navigate processes within the system.

"The CGI Advantage platform is designed specifically for public sector organizations, and we look forward to helping the District streamline operations, enhance the user experience, and deliver better outcomes for students and staff," said Phillip Miles, Senior Vice-President & Business Unit Leader at CGI.

CGI will serve as both the software provider and implementation partner for the project. The implementation began in April 2026, according to the company's announcement. The School District of Osceola County serves students in Central Florida.

CGI reported fiscal 2025 revenue of CA$15.91 billion and employs 94,000 consultants and professionals globally.
