Compass Pathways elects Kathleen Tregoning to board of directors

Compass Pathways plc (NASDAQ: CMPS) announced that Kathleen Tregoning has been elected to its board of directors at the annual general meeting of shareholders, according to a company statement.



Tregoning is expected to serve on the Compensation and Leadership Development Committee and the Nominating and Corporate Governance Committee. She previously served as Chief Corporate Affairs Officer and Head of Commercial Strategy at Cerevel Therapeutics, where she guided the company through its acquisition by AbbVie in 2024.



Before joining Cerevel, Tregoning held the position of Executive Vice President, External Affairs at Sanofi, where she led global market access, public policy, government affairs, communications, patient advocacy and corporate social responsibility functions. She spent more than a decade at Biogen in corporate affairs roles and previously worked as a professional staff member in the United States Congress in health policy positions.



Tregoning currently serves on the board of directors of Spero Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: SPRO). She holds a bachelor's degree in International Relations from Stanford University and a master's degree in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.



Compass Pathways is developing COMP360, an investigational synthetic psilocybin treatment for mental health conditions. The company reported that two Phase 3 trials met their primary endpoint and that a rolling New Drug Application submission and review is underway with the FDA. COMP360 has received Breakthrough Therapy designation from the FDA for treatment-resistant depression.



The London-based biotechnology company focuses on developing treatments for mental health conditions, with offices in New York.
