Elbit Systems receives $350M contract for tank upgrades
Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) (TASE: ESLT) announced it received a contract valued at approximately $350 million from an international customer to deliver upgrades for Main Battle Tanks. The four-year program includes integration of advanced Fire Control Systems, Electric Gun & Turret Drive Systems, Communication and Situational Awareness solutions, and Mid Life Upgrade packages.
The contract covers modernization of tank systems to extend service life and enhance combat readiness. Upgrades include lightweight, high-performance electro-optical sights with artificial intelligence capabilities for day and night observation, target detection and tracking. The agreement also encompasses spare parts supply, maintenance and technical support, plus integration of secure, high-capacity voice communication systems.

The Haifa, Israel-based defense technology company employs over 20,000 people across dozens of countries on five continents. Elbit Systems reported revenues of $2.19 billion for the three months ended March 31, 2026, with an order backlog of $30.2 billion as of that date.
