STMicroelectronics appoints new supervisory board leadership
STMicroelectronics N.V. (NYSE: STM) announced the appointment of Armando Varricchio as Chairman and Nicolas Dufourcq as Vice-Chairman of its Supervisory Board following the company's Annual General Meeting of Shareholders held in Amsterdam.
The appointments were made by the Supervisory Board members for three-year terms that will expire at the end of the 2029 Annual General Meeting. The decision followed the conclusion of the shareholder meeting that took place on May 27, 2026.
STMicroelectronics stated that biographical information for both Varricchio and Dufourcq is available on the company's website. The semiconductor manufacturer operates with 49,000 employees and serves more than 200,000 customers globally.
The company manufactures semiconductor technologies and operates state-of-the-art manufacturing facilities as an integrated device manufacturer. STMicroelectronics has set environmental targets including carbon neutrality in direct and indirect emissions and achieving 100% renewable electricity sourcing by the end of 2027.
