Textron Aviation Inc. (NYSE: TXT) announced a multi-aircraft fleet purchase agreement with Hamburg-based charter operator Platoon Aviation for Cessna Citation Longitude aircraft. The deal positions Platoon Aviation to become the largest Citation Longitude fleet owner in Europe, according to a company statement.

Aircraft deliveries are expected to begin in 2027. The agreement involves Platoon Aviation, which provides on-demand private jet travel for business and leisure travelers.

"This agreement with Platoon Aviation underscores the Longitude's leadership in the super-midsize segment and the trust customers place in Cessna and our team," said Lannie O'Bannion, senior vice president of Sales & Marketing at Textron Aviation.

The Citation Longitude features a range of 6,482 kilometers and full fuel payload of 726 kilograms. The aircraft includes seating for up to 12 passengers and a flat-floor cabin measuring 1.83 meters in height. The business jet is powered by Honeywell HTF7700L turbofan engines.

Deniz Weißenborn, CEO of Platoon Aviation, stated the fleet expansion reflects the company's commitment to building an aviation platform that combines operational efficiency and comfort. The aircraft will serve routes connecting European business corridors, including Hamburg to Madrid and London to Athens.

Textron Aviation provides aftermarket service and support through five company-owned service centers in Europe, a network of authorized service facilities, and mobile service support teams. The company operates a European Parts Distribution Center and offers 24/7 aircraft-on-ground assistance.

The press release did not specify the number of aircraft included in the purchase agreement or financial terms of the deal.
