PingPong launches card payment solution with Visa for B2B suppliers
PingPong announced the launch of its Card to Account Payment Solution, developed through a partnership with Visa (NYSE: V). The service allows businesses to pay suppliers using commercial credit cards even when suppliers do not accept card payments.
The solution operates under Visa's Business Payment Solution Provider program, with PingPong serving as one of three foundational providers selected by Visa. The service is currently available in the UK, EU and Hong Kong, with expansion to the US and Singapore planned for 2026.
Under the system, buyers can use existing commercial cards to settle invoices while suppliers receive funds as standard bank transfers within zero to two business days for most currencies. The arrangement allows buyers to extend working capital by up to 45 days without additional debt while requiring no changes to supplier workflows or onboarding processes.
The service covers suppliers across 170+ countries and 25+ currencies. Businesses can access the solution through PingPong's web portal or integrate it via API with enterprise resource planning and treasury management systems.
"Most B2B suppliers don't accept cards, which leaves a vast portion of corporate spend stranded outside the most efficient working capital tool businesses already hold," said David Messenger, CEO of Global Businesses at PingPong.
Lucy Demery, SVP Head of Visa Commercial Solutions for Europe, stated that the partnership extends commercial card value "beyond traditional acceptance, enabling secure payments and improving working capital for buyers and suppliers."
PingPong, founded in 2015, operates with 60+ licenses globally and processes payments through 40 offices worldwide with 1,500+ employees. The company reports processing over $350 billion in transactions for enterprises and startups.
