Wetour Robotics defers share consolidation to focus on Orchestra AI launch

May 26, 2026 9:15 AM

Wetour Robotics Limited (NASDAQ: WETO) announced its board of directors has decided not to proceed with a previously authorized share consolidation that was scheduled to become effective June 2, 2026. The company will instead focus resources on its Orchestra Physical AI operating system ahead of a launch event scheduled for May 28, 2026 in Austin, Texas.

The share consolidation was originally planned at a ratio of one for ten. Shareholder authorization for the consolidation, granted at an extraordinary general meeting on February 27, 2026, remains in effect. The authorization permits a consolidation ratio between 1:2 and 1:100, which the board may exercise when deemed appropriate.

"With the inaugural Orchestra launch just two days away, our conclusion is that capital and resources belong with execution — on the Physical AI operating system, the edge AI roadmap, the developer ecosystem, the partnerships," said Nan Zheng, Chief Executive Officer of Wetour Robotics.

Wetour Robotics develops Orchestra, described as a portable AI hub and operating system. The system includes sensory modules called VisionLink for computer vision, Conductor for neural gesture recognition, and Spatial Intent Fusion for pointing direction coordination.

The company faces a June 29, 2026 compliance deadline to meet Nasdaq Listing Rule 5550(a)(2) minimum bid price requirements, according to the press release. The forward-looking statements section indicates there is no assurance the company will regain compliance within the deadline without further actions, potentially including a future share consolidation.
