May 26, 2026 9:00 AM

Peloton Interactive Inc. (NASDAQ: PTON) announced the appointment of Siddharth "Sid" Thacker as chief financial officer, effective June 22, 2026.

Thacker will oversee Peloton's global finance organization and corporate strategy. He joins from Rent the Runway, where he served as CFO for three years. During his tenure there, he led financial and operational changes that included resetting the company's balance sheet and implementing a more capital-efficient inventory model.

Before his CFO role at Rent the Runway, Thacker held positions as SVP Finance and Head of Data Science at the same company. He previously spent two decades as a public market investor managing asset portfolios across consumer, financial and tech-enabled services.

"This is a pivotal time for Peloton as we are now operating from a place of strategic optionality and playing offense," said Peter Stern, CEO and President of Peloton. "Sid brings the financial acumen, forward-looking strategy, and deep consumer focus we need to drive our next chapter."

Thacker will be based at Peloton's New York headquarters and will report to CEO Peter Stern. He replaces interim CFO Saqib Baig, who will continue as the company's Chief Accounting Officer.

"I'm excited by Peloton's many strategic assets, from its iconic brand and unmatched instructors to its deeply loyal global community," Thacker said. "I look forward to working with the entire Peloton team to build on the current momentum and discipline, sharpen execution, and usher in a new chapter of profitable growth."
