Faraday Future receives 23-robot order from education partner
Faraday Future Intelligent Electric Inc. (NASDAQ: FFAI) announced a strategic partnership with Sequoia Education Center and signed a sales contract for 23 EAI robots, marking the company's largest robot order to date.
The partnership with the North American K-12 education group will focus on robotics curriculum development, education programs, teacher training, and youth developer initiatives, according to information from a company press release.
Separately, Faraday Future delivered a Master humanoid robot to a medical institution in Los Angeles, representing the first healthcare implementation of the company's EAI robots.
The company held its annual stockholders meeting on May 22, with all proposals receiving approximately 80% approval support from shareholders.
Faraday Future reported progress on its collaboration with RobotShop for robot sales distribution. The company stated that several major North American e-commerce platforms have expressed interest in partnering for robotics sales.
The California-based company has developed what it describes as dozens of Skills for its robots, covering scenarios including education, security, reception services, and companion applications. These Skills are created both internally and by third-party developers.
Faraday Future's developer platform infrastructure is approaching completion, featuring six developer tools. Two tools are finished: BrainBlocks for K-12 programming and EAI Soul for robot personality development. The remaining tools are scheduled to launch later this month.
The company categorizes its data collection into four types: simulation data, embodiment-free data, real-world teleoperation data, and real-world autonomous robot data. Testing of decentralized real-world robot data upload software is underway, with completion expected in June.
