Elbit Systems wins $1.4 billion European military modernization contract
Elbit Systems Ltd. (NASDAQ: ESLT) (TASE: ESLT) announced it received a contract valued at approximately $1.4 billion from an undisclosed European customer for military modernization programs. The contract will be executed over five years.
The modernization programs will cover uncrewed autonomous solutions, networked land electronic warfare systems, precision-guided munitions for artillery and air-to-ground applications, and electro-optical designating and reconnaissance systems. These components will be integrated through software-defined radios.
"This contract reflects the breadth and attractiveness of Elbit Systems' defense portfolio, as well as our ability to deliver both highly capable, best-in-class systems and comprehensive, integrated solutions tailored to evolving operational needs," said Bezhalel Machlis, President and CEO of Elbit Systems.
The Israeli defense technology company reported $7.9 billion in revenues for 2025 and maintains an order backlog of $28.1 billion as of December 31, 2025. Elbit Systems employs over 20,000 people across dozens of countries on five continents.
The company develops, manufactures and integrates defense solutions across multiple domains. The announcement was made through a press release statement.
