Ibotta appoints Jared Chomko as Principal Accounting Officer
Ibotta Inc. (NYSE: IBTA) announced that its board of directors appointed Jared Chomko as Principal Accounting Officer, effective May 19, 2026. Chomko, who currently serves as Senior Vice President of Accounting, will resume the role he previously held.
Matt Puckett, the company's Chief Financial Officer, has been serving as Interim Principal Accounting Officer since October 13, 2025. Puckett will step down from the interim position when Chomko assumes the role. Chomko will continue reporting to Puckett in his new capacity.
Chomko, 37, has been with Ibotta since February 2021, when he joined as Controller. He was promoted to Vice President of Accounting in January 2024 and to Senior Vice President of Accounting in August 2025. Before joining Ibotta, he worked as an auditor at KPMG from 2012 to 2021.
The company stated there will be no changes to Chomko's compensation as a result of the appointment. Chomko holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration and a Master of Accountancy from Colorado State University and is a Certified Public Accountant.
