SBC Medical opens aesthetic dermatology section at Bangkok clinic
SBC Medical Group Holdings (NASDAQ: SBC) announced the opening of a new aesthetic dermatology section at BLEZ CLINIC in Bangkok's Asok district. The section is scheduled to begin operations in June 2026.
The company held an inauguration reception on May 21, 2026, to mark the milestone. SBC Medical entered into a consulting agreement with BLEZ ASIA Co., Ltd., a Japanese-owned company with over 10 years of medical experience in Bangkok, to establish the new section.
The aesthetic dermatology section will initially focus on pico laser treatment for pigmentation and spot removal. The facility will feature Japanese-speaking staff and is designed to serve Bangkok's Japanese expatriate community, which the company states has limited access to aesthetic healthcare services meeting Japanese quality standards.
Under the consulting agreement, SBC Medical provides guidance on clinical protocols and medical device selection. BLEZ CLINIC has operated in the Asok community for more than a decade.
"We are delighted that our partnership with SBC Medical, a leader in aesthetic healthcare in Japan, has made it possible to open this long-awaited laser treatment section," said Naoki Iida, CEO of BLEZ ASIA.
Yuya Yoshida, Director, CFO, and COO of SBC Medical, stated the company sees potential in Thailand's aesthetic healthcare market and plans to expand beyond Japanese expatriates to serve customers across Asia.
SBC Medical operates a network of more than 250 clinics worldwide and provides management support across various healthcare fields including aesthetic healthcare, dermatology, and orthopedics. The company was listed on Nasdaq in September 2024 and was included in the Russell 3000 Index in June 2025.
