lululemon opens first stores in Greece with Athens locations
Lululemon (NASDAQ: LULU) announced the opening of its first stores in Greece through a franchise partnership with Arion Retail Group. The first store will open May 23, 2026, at Akadimias 17 & Voukourestiou in Kolonaki, central Athens. A second location will open June 12, 2026, at the Golden Hall shopping mall.
The Kolonaki store will occupy nearly 180 square meters and feature the company's athletic apparel and accessories for activities including yoga, running, training, golf, and tennis. The Golden Hall location will span 290 square meters across two floors.
"We're excited to welcome more guests to lululemon with the opening of the first stores in Greece, marking another milestone in our continued growth across EMEA," said Sarah Clark, Senior Vice President, EMEA, lululemon. "Together with our franchise partner Arion Retail Group, we look forward to introducing our premium performance products that blend technical innovation with elevated style to new guests in the market."
Both stores will offer women's and men's technical apparel and accessories. The locations are designed to serve as community hubs, with plans to engage local run clubs, fitness studios, and trainers for events and collaborations. Greek customers will also be able to shop online at eu.lululemon.com.
Greece represents lululemon's third new market entry in 2026, following Poland and Hungary in March. The company plans six new market entries through its franchise partnership model over a 12-month period, with Romania, Austria, and India scheduled for later in 2026.
