AbbVie to present oncology pipeline data at 2026 ASCO meeting
AbbVie Inc. (NYSE: ABBV) announced it will present clinical trial data from its oncology pipeline at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting in Chicago. The presentations will cover multiple drug candidates across solid tumors and blood cancers.
The company will present data on ABBV-969, a bispecific antibody-drug conjugate targeting PSMA/STEAP1 for metastatic castration-resistant prostate cancer. In a Phase 1 study of 29 patients with evaluable disease, the treatment achieved a confirmed objective response rate of 45%. Among patients receiving active dose levels, 67% achieved at least a 50% reduction in prostate-specific antigen.
For small cell lung cancer, AbbVie will share Phase 1 data on ABBV-706, a SEZ6-directed ADC. In the monotherapy cohort of 17 patients receiving second-line therapy at the recommended Phase 3 dose, the objective response rate was 82%.
The company will also present basket study data on telisotuzumab adizutecan, a c-Met-directed ADC, showing antitumor activity in platinum-resistant ovarian cancer and head and neck squamous cell carcinoma patients.
In multiple myeloma, AbbVie will present data on etentamig, a BCMA x CD3 T-cell engager. Among 11 patients who received the treatment after prior BCMA-directed CAR-T therapy, the objective response rate was 64%. The median duration of response was 13 months.
All compounds mentioned are investigational and not approved by health authorities. The data will be presented through multiple oral presentations and posters during the conference scheduled for late May 2026.
