L.B. Foster promotes three executives to senior roles
L.B. Foster Company (NASDAQ: FSTR) announced the promotion of three executives to new leadership positions, effective June 1, 2026.
William M. Thalman, currently executive vice president and chief financial officer, will become executive vice president and chief operating officer. Thalman, 59, has served as CFO since June 2023 and previously held the senior vice president and CFO role since February 2021.
Sean M. Reilly, the company's current controller and principal accounting officer, will be promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer. Reilly, 53, has held his current position since January 2022.
Timothy J. Curran, vice president of tax and treasury, will assume the role of controller and principal accounting officer. Curran, 46, has served in his current capacity since January 2022 and joined the company in 2013.
Before joining L.B. Foster, Thalman worked at Kennametal Inc. from 2004 to 2021, serving in various finance and operations roles. He previously held positions at Wesco Inc. and The Carbide/Graphite Group Inc.
Reilly also worked at Kennametal from 2002 to 2004 and 2007 to 2022, most recently as vice president of finance for the Metal Cutting Division. He previously worked at Tollgrade Communications Inc. and PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Curran joined L.B. Foster in 2013 as director of tax and compliance before his 2022 promotion. He previously worked at KPMG from 2003 to 2013 in the firm's Mergers & Acquisitions Tax practice.
