The Joint Corp appoints Milind Pant to board of directors
The Joint Corp. (NASDAQ: JYNT) announced the election of Milind Pant to its board of directors following the company's annual stockholder meeting. The appointment expands the board to seven directors after Sue Decker and Abe Hong did not stand for re-election.
Pant currently serves as founder and chief executive officer of Karyon Leadership Advisory, where he advises executives and boards on leadership and growth strategy. He also sits on the board of The Western Union Company and serves as an executive fellow at the Kellogg School of Management and the Wall Street Journal Leadership Institute.
Previously, Pant held the role of chief executive officer at Amway Corporation and senior executive positions at Yum! Brands and Unilever PLC. He holds a Master of Business Administration in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade and a Master of Management Studies from the Birla Institute of Technology and Science.
"Milind's deep expertise in scaling consumer brands, health and wellness, business transformation and franchising will be a significant asset to the Board and senior management," said Matthew E. Rubel, lead director.
The Joint Corp. operates as the franchisor of chiropractic care through The Joint Chiropractic network, with over 940 locations nationwide and more than 14 million patient visits annually. The company is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona.
