Varonis integrates with Claude Compliance API for AI security monitoring
Varonis Systems Inc. (NASDAQ: VRNS) announced an integration with Anthropic's Claude Compliance API that brings Claude Enterprise and Claude Platform activity into the company's Atlas AI Security Platform.
The integration allows security and governance teams to monitor AI usage across organizations and receive alerts on potential misuse. Organizations can track employee use of Claude Enterprise for knowledge work and development teams' use of Claude Platform for building AI applications.
Through the integration, Atlas ingests Claude Enterprise activity and administrative events, enabling teams to monitor conversational content including chats, uploaded files and projects. The platform can detect anomalies in real time and maintain audit records for governance and compliance assessments.
For Claude Platform users, Atlas provides visibility into AI system development and operations. The platform monitors assistants and agents created with Claude Platform, stores audit events and generates real-time alerts on risky behavior. It can also test assistants and agents for vulnerabilities including prompt injection attacks.
"Every AI system you deploy is a direct path to your data — no application layer, no built-in security controls, no speed limit. You can't secure what you can't see," said Ron Bennatan, VP of AI and Data Security Strategy at Varonis.
The Atlas platform connects AI activity to underlying data, identifying sensitive information, access permissions and whether access is appropriate. This integration is part of Varonis' approach to securing AI across its lifecycle from discovery to runtime protection.
The integration with Claude Compliance API is available immediately. Organizations can access a free trial that includes Atlas' AI inventory, posture management, security testing, runtime guardrails and compliance reporting functionality.
