SailPoint Inc. (NASDAQ: SAIL) announced an integration with Anthropic's Claude Compliance API to provide identity security for organizations using Claude Enterprise AI platforms.

The connector enables enterprises to manage Claude Enterprise users, groups, and roles through SailPoint's Identity Security Cloud platform. The integration addresses what the company describes as "Shadow AI" risks, where AI tool usage occurs without IT oversight.

The system allows organizations to discover and govern Claude AI agents as non-human identities within their digital ecosystems. Users can apply access controls and monitor AI agent activities from a centralized management point.

"This gives our customers the ability to not just monitor, but truly govern their AI workforce from day one, treating AI platform access with the same rigor and contextual understanding as they would for a critical application or datastore," said Chandra Gnanasambandam, executive vice president of product and chief technology officer at SailPoint.

The integration provides visibility into Claude Enterprise access patterns and enables organizations to apply governance policies across their AI tool deployments. SailPoint's platform uses artificial intelligence to assess access context, including user identity, resource type, timing and purpose of access requests.

The connector is available to SailPoint Identity Security Cloud customers. SailPoint, based in Austin, Texas, provides identity security solutions for enterprises managing both human and non-human digital identities.

Anthropic's Claude Enterprise offers AI assistant capabilities including chat functions, code assistance, and collaborative work tools for organizational teams.
