GE Aerospace wins three-year UK Apache engine support contract
GE Aerospace (NYSE: GE) received a three-year contract from Boeing Defence UK Ltd to provide support services for T700-GE-T701D engines that power the British Army's Apache AH-64E helicopter fleet.
The Performance Based Logistics agreement includes placement of an on-site Field Service Representative at Wattisham Flying Station in Suffolk, UK. GE Aerospace will deliver logistics management, technical support, materials, and repair and maintenance services for engines and line-replaceable units through StandardAero in Gosport, UK.

"This agreement strengthens regional support and services for the UK Apache fleet, helping ensure readiness and availability."
The T700 engine family has accumulated more than 100 million flight hours across four decades of operation. GE Aerospace has produced more than 25,000 engines in the T700 series, which power aircraft platforms in 50 countries for transport, medical evacuation, air rescue, special operations, and maritime patrol missions.
The contract extends GE Aerospace's existing support relationship for the UK's Apache helicopter program. The information is based on a company press release statement.
