Crown Castle appoints Kris Hinson as CCO and Mark Lennon as CIO
Crown Castle Inc. (NYSE: CCI) announced the appointment of Kris Hinson as Executive Vice President and Chief Commercial Officer and Mark Lennon as Senior Vice President and Chief Information Officer.
Hinson will oversee customer commercial relationships and commercial strategy. He previously served as Crown Castle's Vice President of Corporate Finance and Treasurer since 2023, handling investor relations, strategic planning, treasury, procurement, business analytics, sustainability and corporate facilities. Before joining Crown Castle, Hinson spent 13 years at ExxonMobil in various finance leadership positions, including Director of Investor Relations and Managing Director of ExxonMobil Czech Republic. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and an AB in Economics from Harvard College.
Lennon will lead the company's data, digital and information security strategies. He most recently served as Chief Information Officer and Digital Officer at Netpower, where he developed digital strategy for the startup's growth phase. His previous CIO roles include positions at Archrock, Jardine Lloyd Thompson, Maersk Oil and Universalpegasus International. Lennon began his career with the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom.
Cathy Piche will continue as Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, focusing on asset management and customer experience on Crown Castle towers. Hamilton West has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Finance and Treasurer, replacing Hinson in that position.

Crown Castle owns, operates and leases approximately 40,000 cell towers across the United States.
