KULR Technology Group Inc. (NYSE American: KULR) announced it is working with Factorial Inc. to integrate solid-state and lithium-metal battery cell technologies into drone battery pack systems.

The collaboration is part of Factorial's global initiative to deploy its battery platform across drone systems in the United States, Europe, and Asia-Pacific regions. KULR is supporting integration work in the U.S. market, focusing on optimizing Factorial cells for unmanned aircraft systems through its battery safety, thermal management, and pack design capabilities.

The partnership targets addressing limitations in conventional lithium-ion battery systems for longer-range and more autonomous drone missions across commercial, industrial, and defense applications. The companies aim to develop battery pack solutions that address constraints in endurance, weight, and pulse power while maintaining safety and reliability standards.

Siyu Huang, CEO of Factorial, said the company selected KULR as a strategic partner for its battery platform and pack integration capabilities in the U.S. drone market.

The companies demonstrated initial battery pack prototypes at XPONENTIAL 2026 in Detroit, showcasing potential applications for aerospace, defense, robotics, and autonomous system markets.

KULR's involvement builds on its strategy to expand the KULR ONE platform into mission-critical battery applications. The company is developing its KULR ONE Air platform to support drone, unmanned aircraft systems, electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, and electric aviation applications.
