FuelCell Energy adds cybersecurity expert John Livingston to board
FuelCell Energy Inc. (NASDAQ: FCEL) appointed John Livingston to its board of directors, effective May 19, 2026, the company announced.
Livingston brings over 25 years of experience in strategy, technology, industrial operations and cybersecurity. He previously established and served as CEO of Verve Industrial Protection, an operational technology cybersecurity platform for critical infrastructure that was acquired by Rockwell Automation.
Prior to founding Verve, Livingston spent more than 20 years at McKinsey & Co., where he advised industrial, technology and infrastructure clients on growth strategy, operational transformation and technology-enabled change. He held multiple leadership roles focused on industrial technologies and advanced manufacturing.
"John Livingston has spent his distinguished career helping industrial and technology companies navigate periods of operational and technology transformation across strategy, business operations, and cybersecurity," said Jason Few, president and CEO of FuelCell Energy.
FuelCell Energy develops fuel cell systems that generate electricity for data centers, industrial facilities, utilities and distributed generation customers. The company operates fuel cell deployments approaching one gigawatt globally.

The appointment comes as the company focuses on delivering power solutions for data centers, digital infrastructure, utilities and other applications requiring reliable electricity generation.
