Corbus names Nishant Saxena as chief business officer

May 21, 2026 8:01 AM

Corbus Pharmaceuticals Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: CRBP) appointed Nishant Saxena as its first chief business officer, the company announced. Saxena previously served as chief financial officer at Jeune Aesthetics Inc., a subsidiary of Krystal Biotech Inc. (NASDAQ: KRYS).

Saxena brings over 20 years of experience in finance, strategy, capital markets, and corporate development. He spent more than 15 years at Evercore as a managing director in the healthcare group, where he advised on transactions totaling over $500 billion in aggregate value. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

The appointment comes as Corbus approaches two pipeline milestones this summer: the initiation of a registrational study of CRB-701 in second-line head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and the completion of the CANYON-1 Phase 1b dose-ranging study for CRB-913, an oral CB1 inverse agonist for obesity treatment.

Corbus also scheduled a conference call for May 26 at 8:00 a.m. EDT to discuss updated data from its Phase 1/2 study of CRB-701, a Nectin-4 antibody drug conjugate. The data will be presented at the 2026 American Society of Clinical Oncology Annual Meeting and includes clinical response durability data and patient subgroup analysis from an April 1, 2026 data cut.

The company will present CRB-701 data in both head and neck squamous cell carcinoma and cervical cancer at ASCO. An oral presentation on cervical cancer will be given May 29, while a poster presentation on head and neck cancer will be presented May 30.
