Leidos wins four awards under state department's $10 billion evolve contract
Leidos Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LDOS) received four awards under the U.S. Department of State's Evolve contract to modernize IT systems for diplomats worldwide, according to a company statement.
The contract awards cover cloud and data center services, application development services, network and telecommunications services, and customer and end user support. Leidos will work to strengthen cybersecurity, modernize applications and infrastructure, and improve IT service reliability across the State Department's global network of embassies and consulates.
The Evolve contract is structured as a multiple award, indefinite delivery indefinite quantity agreement with a one-year base period and six option years. The total contract ceiling is $10 billion across all awardees.
"The Department of State runs one of the most globally dispersed IT environments in the federal government," said Steve Hull, president of Leidos Digital Modernization. "Diplomats and embassy staff depend on secure, resilient systems that perform in any environment."
Leidos, headquartered in Reston, Virginia, employs 50,000 people globally and reported annual revenues of approximately $17.2 billion for the fiscal year ended January 2, 2026. The company provides technology services to government and commercial customers.
The awards support Leidos' NorthStar 2030 strategic plan focused on digital modernization, cybersecurity, and customer-centric innovation using artificial intelligence and IT transformation.
