May 21, 2026 6:55 AM

AECOM (NYSE: ACM) received the top position on Defence Construction Canada's National Architecture & Engineering Source List, a multi-year program with potential value up to $270 million CAD.

The contract represents the largest Source List ever issued by Defence Construction Canada in total maximum estimated value. The program will support the Department of National Defence in delivering infrastructure projects across Canada.

The agreement includes a three-year term with two additional one-year options. AECOM will provide architecture and engineering services covering planning, design, and construction-phase support for various military facilities including hangars, aircraft maintenance buildings, vehicle maintenance bays, office complexes, accommodations, and training facilities.

Defence Construction Canada's selection process evaluates firms based on technical merit, cost, and specialized defense experience. The agency typically assigns the top-ranked firm to projects with exceptional technical complexity or compressed delivery timelines.

AECOM will also provide strategic planning services to assist Defence Construction Canada with long-term recapitalization plans and asset portfolio management. The company stated it has maintained a 15-year relationship with Defence Construction Canada and the Department of National Defence.

The infrastructure firm reported revenue of $16.1 billion in fiscal year 2025. AECOM operates as a professional services company providing engineering, design, and project management services across water, environment, energy, transportation, and buildings sectors.

Work under the contract will be delivered by AECOM teams across Canada in both English and French, according to the company's announcement.
