Wood currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of Violet St Holdings, LLC, a position he has held since September 2022. He also sits on the board of directors of Fender Musical Instruments Corp.
"We are excited to welcome Luke to Snap's board," said Evan Spiegel, co-founder and Chief Executive Officer of Snap Inc. "Luke has helped build and scale iconic products and brands at the intersection of technology and culture, and we look forward to benefiting from his insights."
Board Chairperson Michael Lynton said Wood's "creative and operating experience will bring a valuable perspective to our board."
