Conduent names Adam Demuyakor to board of directors
Conduent Incorporated (NASDAQ: CNDT) appointed Adam Demuyakor to its board of directors, effective June 1, 2026, according to a company statement.
Demuyakor serves as founder and managing partner of Wilshire Lane Capital, a venture capital firm focused on technology-enabled businesses. The firm has invested in generative AI applications, enterprise software, financial technology, and infrastructure platforms.
He also holds the position of vice chairman at the Housing Authority of the City of Los Angeles, described as the second-largest public housing authority in the United States. Previously, Demuyakor worked in investment and advisory roles at Andreessen Horowitz, The Carlyle Group, and Morgan Stanley.
Demuyakor earned a bachelor's degree with high honors from Harvard College and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
"Adam's background expands the breadth of expertise represented on our Board and enhances the diversity of thought that supports effective governance and long-term value creation," said Margarita Paláu-Hernández, chair of Conduent's board.
Chief Executive Officer Harsha V. Agadi stated that Demuyakor's experience in technology, investment, and business transformation would complement the board's existing capabilities.
Conduent provides digital business solutions and services across commercial, government and transportation sectors. The company employs approximately 48,000 associates globally and processes over 14 million tolling transactions daily, according to the statement.
