SEALSQ completes integration of IC'Alps to expand chip design capabilities
SEALSQ Corp (NASDAQ: LAES) announced the completion of its integration of IC'Alps into its semiconductor and post-quantum technology operations. The integration expands SEALSQ's chip design and application-specific integrated circuit development capabilities.
IC'Alps specializes in custom integrated circuit development, low-power semiconductor architectures, and chip engineering services for industrial, automotive, healthcare, security, and Internet of Things applications. The company now operates as part of SEALSQ's European semiconductor platform.
The integration enables SEALSQ to design post-quantum secure chips, AI-enabled semiconductor architectures, Trusted Platform Modules, secure microcontrollers for IoT and satellite systems, edge AI and cryptographic acceleration solutions, and custom ASICs for industrial, defense, and space applications.
"This successful integration meaningfully enhances our semiconductor engineering capacity and reinforces our commitment to Europe's technological independence," said Carlos Moreira, CEO of SEALSQ.
SEALSQ develops and sells semiconductors, public key infrastructure, and post-quantum technology hardware and software products. The company focuses on quantum-resistant cryptography and semiconductors designed to address security challenges from quantum computing advances.
The integration supports SEALSQ's initiatives including expansion of post-quantum semiconductor technologies, secure satellite and space infrastructure projects, advanced semiconductor personalization capabilities, AI-driven cybersecurity platforms, and development of European supply chains for secure semiconductors.
