Cognyte secures $5 million upgrade deal with APAC security agency
Cognyte Software Ltd. (NASDAQ: CGNT) announced a $5 million upgrade agreement with a national security agency customer in the Asia-Pacific region, according to a company statement.
The Israel-based investigative analytics software company said the deal involves modernizing the customer's existing investigative analytics environment with updated AI-driven capabilities. The customer is described as a long-standing client that previously used Cognyte's technology.
The upgrade will enhance the agency's investigative operations through AI capabilities designed to support faster investigations and intelligence operations, the company stated. Cognyte develops software for law enforcement, national security and military intelligence agencies.
"Our enduring partnership with this customer reflects the operational value they continue to realize from our investigative analytics platform," said Efi Nuri, Chief Revenue Officer at Cognyte.
David Abadi, Chief Financial Officer at Cognyte, said the agreement demonstrates the company's ability to expand business with existing customers. "Follow-on opportunities with long-standing customers remain an important driver of our business, supporting durable revenue growth," Abadi stated.
The company did not identify the specific agency or country involved in the transaction. Cognyte provides investigative analytics solutions to hundreds of customers worldwide, focusing on technologies that analyze multi-source data for security and law enforcement purposes.
