Philip Morris International Inc. (NYSE: PM) announced that Massimo Andolina will become Group Chief Financial Officer effective August 1, 2026, replacing Emmanuel Babeau who will transition to a Strategic Advisor role until March 31, 2027.

Andolina currently serves as President of PMI's Europe Region, a position he has held since 2023. The Europe Region represents the company's largest region and most advanced smoke-free geography. During his tenure, the region delivered growth in revenue and profits, supported by expansion of smoke-free products and stable combustible cigarette performance.

The incoming CFO joined PMI in 2008 and previously held the position of Senior Vice President, Global Operations from 2018 to 2023, where he oversaw supply chain and manufacturing operations for over 30,000 employees. From 2016 to 2017, he served as Vice President, PMI Transformation.

Before joining PMI, Andolina worked in strategic and business development roles at other multinational corporations. He holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Industrial Engineering from the University of Palermo and an MBA from IMD in Lausanne.

Babeau became CFO in May 2020, bringing experience from previous roles at Schneider Electric and Pernod Ricard. During his tenure, PMI completed the acquisition of Swedish Match in 2022. The company's smoke-free products generated 43% of net revenues in the first quarter of 2026, according to the press release.

"Massimo is a highly respected leader with a deep knowledge of PMI and a strong track record of driving innovation, business growth, and people development," said Group CEO Jacek Olczak in a statement.

PMI's smoke-free products are available in over 105 markets and are used by an estimated 43 million consumers worldwide as of December 31, 2025, the company stated.
