Investing.com -- Alibaba announced Wednesday a comprehensive upgrade of its AI stack, including cloud infrastructure, model services, AI chips and foundation models, to help customers build and deploy AI agents.

At the Alibaba Cloud Summit, the company unveiled Qwen3.7-Max, its latest large language model built for agentic coding, complex reasoning and long-horizon task execution. The model will be available soon for developers and enterprises worldwide.

Qwen 3.7-Max can handle code generation and debugging, office workflow automation, and complex multi-step tasks requiring hundreds or thousands of actions. The model can autonomously execute tasks for up to 35 hours and manage over 1,000 tool calls without performance degradation. It is optimized for agent frameworks including OpenClaw, Hermes Agent, Claude Code, Qwen Paw and Qoder, and will be accessible through Alibaba's model service platform Model Studio.

Alibaba Cloud launched the Panjiu AL128 Supernode Server to support AI agent inference and large-scale model training. The system integrates 128 AI accelerators within a single rack, delivering single-rack bandwidth at the petabyte-per-second scale. The Panjiu AL128 is now available on Model Studio for the China market.

T-Head, Alibaba's semiconductor design subsidiary, introduced the Zhenwu M890, its latest AI training and inference processor. The chip delivers three times the performance of its predecessor Zhenwu 810E, with 144 GB of GPU memory and 800 GB per second of inter-chip bandwidth. The chip supports multiple data precision formats from FP32 down to FP4.

T-Head also unveiled the ICN Switch 1.0, a switching chip that delivers up to 25.6 Tbps of aggregate bandwidth and enables full-bandwidth interconnection across 64 accelerators. T-Head has delivered over 560,000 Zhenwu units to date, with more than 400 external customers across 20 industries deploying the chips.
