EVgo names Amber Scott as chief accounting officer
EVgo Inc. (NASDAQ: EVGO) appointed Amber Scott as Chief Accounting Officer, effective May 18. Scott will oversee accounting, tax, compliance, and SEC reporting functions, reporting to Chief Financial Officer Keefer Lehner.
Scott brings over 20 years of finance and accounting experience at public and private companies. She most recently served as Vice President of Finance and Principal Accounting Officer at Redwood Materials, a battery recycling company, where she directed worldwide accounting and tax functions.
Prior to Redwood Materials, Scott was Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Accounting Officer at Powin Energy, where she led public company readiness strategy and rebuilt financial reporting infrastructure. She previously spent more than a decade at Flex Ltd., rising to Vice President of Global Corporate Accounting.
Scott began her career in audit at Deloitte & Touche LLP. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Accounting and Finance from the University of Northern Colorado and maintains an active CPA license in Colorado.

EVgo operates more than 1,200 fast charging stations across 47 states, partnering with retailers, grocery stores, restaurants, shopping centers, gas stations, and other businesses to deploy charging infrastructure.
