OwlTing Group launches booking engine for AI agent payments
OwlTing Group (NASDAQ: OWLS) announced it will launch OwlPay Booking Engine for Agent Checkout in June 2026, a hospitality booking system designed to enable AI agents to complete hotel reservations and payments on behalf of travelers.
The service integrates three components: OwlPay Agent Checkout for booking confirmation, OwlPay Agent Wallet for AI agent-authorized payments, and OwlPay Harbor for cross-border settlement. The system allows AI agents to search hotels, process payments, and complete bookings in a single workflow.
OwlTing plans to initially deploy the service through its OwlNest property management system, which serves over 2,800 hotel and accommodation clients worldwide. The company reported gross booking volume of approximately $280 million across OwlNest client platforms in 2025, with monthly gross order volume reaching approximately $30 million in March and April 2026.
The company will generate revenue through platform service fees from hospitality operators, payment service fees on multi-currency transactions, and per-transaction fees on AI agent bookings. OwlTing holds money transmitter licenses in 40 U.S. states.
"We already participate in real hospitality booking payment flows across Asia-focused booking engines," said Darren Wang, founder and CEO at OwlTing Group. "Our goal is to extend this infrastructure to the global hospitality market, helping hotels, B&Bs, OTAs, and hospitality platforms become AI-agent-ready."
The service supports a four-step process from search and reservation through authorized payment, booking confirmation, and cross-border settlement. OwlTing's Visa Direct integration allows eligible U.S. debit cardholders to fund USDC transactions.
According to third-party research cited by OwlTing, global online travel gross bookings are projected to reach approximately $1.2 trillion by 2026, with IDC predicting that 30% of all travel bookings will be executed by AI agents by 2030.
