Safe Pro Group Inc. (NASDAQ: SPAI) announced it will demonstrate its InFlight AI-powered threat detection system integrated into Red Cat Holdings' (NASDAQ: RCAT) Black Widow drones for the U.S. Army during exercises scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

The InFlight system can identify and locate more than 150 types of explosive threats including landmines, anti-personnel mines, cluster munitions, and ambush drones in real-time. The AI technology processes 4K video onboard the drone and delivers threat data directly into the U.S. Army's Tactical Assault Kit software system.

Integration of the InFlight technology into the Black Widow platform began in September 2025. The Black Widow drone has been selected by the U.S. Army under the Short Range Reconnaissance Program of Record.

"Today's integration milestone is the first-of-its-kind to provide real time threat detection capabilities to U.S. Army units fielding the Black Widow, demonstrating our commitment to rapid innovation from soldier feedback," said Dan Erdberg, Chairman and CEO of Safe Pro Group.

The InFlight system works alongside Safe Pro's NODE-X edge-processing solution, which provides 2D and 3D interactive terrain maps with hazard detections, vegetation analysis, and slope guidance for military operations.

Safe Pro's technology uses a dataset of over 2.75 million drone images and 49,000 threats detected from real battlefields. The company develops AI-enabled defense, security, and situational awareness solutions.
