Aegis Critical Energy Defence appoints Ramtin Rasoulinezhad to board
Aegis Critical Energy Defence Corp. (CSE: QESS) (OTCQB: QESSF) (FSE: JG6) announced the appointment of Ramtin Rasoulinezhad to its board of directors, following an earlier announcement on April 2, 2026.
Rasoulinezhad serves as a technology executive and CEO with experience in energy systems across utilities, oil and gas, marine, and defense sectors. According to the company, he has led energy and infrastructure projects valued at more than $1 billion throughout his career.
His background includes work on large-scale industrial developments, hybrid energy systems, modular energy systems, and advanced battery solutions. Rasoulinezhad has held senior technology positions at companies including AMPS in Baton Rouge as Chief Technology Officer, Shift Clean Energy in Vancouver as Chief Technology Officer, and AVL in Hamilton, Ontario as Director of Hybrid Solutions.
Rasoulinezhad holds dual master's degrees in Power Systems and Power Electronics, a PhD focused on hybrid distributed energy resources, and has completed executive education at MIT. He recently attended the MIT Professional Education program as part of a Chief Technology Officer certificate program.
He has received recognition as a Canada's Clean50 Emerging Leader and a Business in Vancouver Forty Under 40 award recipient.
