PVH appoints three executives to leadership team
PVH Corp. (NYSE: PVH) announced three new appointments to its executive leadership team, including two internal promotions.
Adelyn Cheong has been promoted to Chief Executive Officer, PVH Americas, where she will oversee the Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands in the region. Cheong joined PVH in 2018 to lead Tommy Hilfiger in Asia Pacific and currently serves as President, PVH China. She succeeds Donald Kohler, who is leaving the company to pursue a new opportunity closer to family.
Joel Samaha will join PVH as President, Global Licensing, Partnerships and Expansion in a newly-created role. Samaha comes from Boston Consulting Group, where he serves as a partner in the firm's global consumer and fashion practice. His role will incorporate responsibilities previously held by Kohler.
Jonathan Bottomley will expand his current role as Global Chief Marketing Officer for Calvin Klein to also become EVP, Group Consumer & Brand Strategy for PVH Corp. In this expanded position, he will oversee global consumer capabilities across both Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger brands.
"We are thrilled to add these experienced and talented leaders to our Executive Leadership Team, as we drive next-level execution of our PVH+ Plan and unlock the full potential of Calvin Klein and Tommy Hilfiger," said Stefan Larsson, CEO of PVH Corp.
The appointments are part of PVH's strategy to strengthen focus on consumer engagement, brand strategy and global growth initiatives. Kohler's last day with PVH will be June 30. Cheong and Samaha's appointments become effective in late summer and July 6, respectively. Bottomley's expanded responsibilities are effective immediately.
All three leaders will report to Larsson, with Bottomley maintaining his Calvin Klein CMO reporting line to David Savman, Global Brand President for Calvin Klein.
