Kraft Heinz launches JELL-O Simply line without artificial colors

May 19, 2026 6:01 AM

Kraft Heinz (NASDAQ: KHC) announced the launch of JELL-O Simply, a new product line that removes FD&C colors and artificial sweeteners from the gelatin and pudding brand. The company stated the launch addresses consumer demand for simpler ingredients while maintaining the taste and appearance of traditional JELL-O products.

The JELL-O Simply line includes ready-to-eat gelatin made with real fruit juice and containing 25% less sugar than original products. The ready-to-eat options are available nationwide for $3.99 per four-pack in Orange, Raspberry Lemonade, and Blueberry flavors.

Kraft Heinz plans to release JELL-O Simply gelatin and instant pudding mixes in August 2026 for $2.24 per box. The mixes will be available in Vanilla, Chocolate, Banana, and Strawberry flavors, each made with real ingredients corresponding to their flavor profiles.

The launch represents part of Kraft Heinz's commitment to remove FD&C colors across its U.S. portfolio by the end of 2027. According to the company, half of parents actively avoid artificial sweeteners, and one in three parents rank total sugar as their primary concern when selecting food products.

"JELL-O Simply delivers everything people love about JELL-O – the delicious taste, the iconic jiggle and the vibrant fun – now made with no FD&C colors or artificial sweeteners," said Kathryn O'Brien, Head of Marketing, Desserts at Kraft Heinz.

The JELL-O brand has been available for more than 125 years. Kraft Heinz reported approximately $25 billion in net sales in 2025 and operates in more than 40 countries.
