XP Inc appoints Gustavo Alejo Viviani as new CFO effective August 2026
XP Inc. (NASDAQ: XP) announced that Gustavo Alejo Viviani will serve as the company's new Chief Financial Officer, effective August 3, 2026. The appointment represents a planned succession as part of the Brazilian financial services company's organizational evolution.
Alejo brings 30 years of financial services experience, beginning his career at Citibank Brasil in 1996 before joining Santander Brasil in 2000. At Santander, he held various leadership positions across wholesale and retail banking operations over 26 years. His recent roles included Chief Financial Officer, Investor Relations Officer, and Executive Vice-President responsible for the Consumer Finance Business. He also served on the Board of Directors of Zurich Santander Brasil.
Victor Andreu Mansur Farinassi will step down from his CFO position on May 31, 2026, after more than 14 years with XP. CEO Thiago Maffra will serve as interim Chief Financial Officer from Mansur's departure until Alejo assumes the role, overseeing financial operations and facilitating the transition.
André Parize will continue as Investor Relations Officer, maintaining continuity in the company's investor communications.
Alejo holds a CFA designation and an economics degree, with additional business education from the University of California-Berkeley, London Business School, and The University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
