Dell Technologies announces AI infrastructure advancements

Dell Technologies (NYSE: DELL) announced enhancements to its Dell AI Factory with NVIDIA platform at Dell Technologies World in Las Vegas. The company reported that more than 5,000 customers are already deploying the Dell AI Factory.

The new offerings include Dell Deskside Agentic AI, a solution powered by Dell workstations and NVIDIA NemoClaw that allows enterprises to build and run autonomous agents locally. The company stated organizations can break even versus public cloud API costs in as little as three months with this solution.

Dell introduced significant updates to its AI Data Platform, including faster indexing capabilities for billions of files and up to 6x faster SQL query performance on NVIDIA Blackwell GPUs. The company also announced the Dell ObjectScale X7700 appliance, which delivers up to 45% more HDD capacity than the previous generation.

Infrastructure additions include the new PowerRack system, which integrates compute, networking and storage components. Dell also unveiled the Dell Pro Precision 7 R1, a 1U rack workstation with NVIDIA RTX PRO Blackwell Max-Q Workstation Edition GPUs and up to 64TB of storage.

The company launched the Dell AI Ecosystem Program to provide AI software providers with validation paths for solutions on Dell infrastructure. New partnerships include collaborations with Google for Gemini 3 Flash models, Hugging Face for the Dell Enterprise Hub, OpenAI for Codex deployment, and Palantir for on-premises Foundry and AIP platform integration.

Various components of the announced solutions will become available throughout 2026 and into 2027, with some solutions already available. The Dell Deskside Agentic AI Solutions are currently available, while other offerings have staggered release dates extending through the first half of 2027.
