Liberty Latin America Ltd. (NASDAQ: LILA, LILAK) announced the appointment of Ignacio Roman as Senior Vice President and General Manager of Liberty Puerto Rico and USVI operations.

Roman previously led the company's business-to-consumer commercial operations in Panama and brings over 30 years of telecommunications industry experience. He has held management positions at companies including Vodafone, Avantel S.A.S., and Digicel Group across Europe and Latin America.

"Ignacio is a familiar face for Liberty Latin America as he previously led our B2C commercial operations in Panama," said Balan Nair, President and CEO of Liberty Latin America. "He brings more than 30 years of experience in the telecommunications industry and knows our business well."

The Denver-based communications company operates in over 20 countries across Latin America and the Caribbean under consumer brands including BTC, Flow, Liberty, and Más Móvil. The company provides digital video, broadband internet, telephony, and mobile services to residential and business customers.

Roman stated he plans to continue enhancing networks, investing in employees, and providing value for customers in his new role. The appointment comes as Liberty Latin America works to rebuild its business operations in Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
