Allegiant Air (NASDAQ: ALGT) has chosen Navan (NASDAQ: NAVN) as its platform for managing employee business travel, according to a press release from Navan.

The airline will use Navan's travel and expense management platform to coordinate company-related travel for employees, including flight crews and staff traveling for training, temporary work assignments and operational support. The platform is designated for internal employee travel only and will not serve customers.

Allegiant operates across dozens of markets and regularly coordinates employee travel to support training, maintenance, operational readiness and network coverage. The company said it selected Navan to streamline internal travel logistics, reduce manual coordination and improve the travel experience for employees on company business.

"When evaluating solutions for our employee business travel needs, we were looking for a platform that could support the complexity and pace of an airline operation, while also improving the user experience for our team members," said Travis Schwieder, Vice President of the Operations Control Center at Allegiant.

The implementation addresses several operational priorities including expanded travel access for employees, modernized internal booking tools to replace manual processes, and integrated payment and expense support for authorized travel expenses.

Navan provides AI-powered travel and expense management services for business travel. The company's platform includes flight and hotel booking capabilities along with expense reconciliation features.
