Bitmine reports ETH holdings of 5.28 million tokens worth $12.6 billion
Bitmine Immersion Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BMNR) announced its Ethereum holdings reached 5.28 million tokens as of May 17, 2026, representing 4.37% of the total ETH supply of 120.7 million coins.
The company reported total cryptocurrency and cash holdings of $12.6 billion, which includes the ETH position valued at $2,191 per token, 202 Bitcoin, $200 million in Beast Industries, $83 million in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS), and $685 million in cash.
Bitmine has staked 4.71 million ETH tokens worth $10.3 billion through its MAVAN staking platform, generating annualized staking revenues of $289 million with a 7-day yield of 2.80%. The company acquired 71,672 ETH over the past week.
The company completed its uplisting from NYSE American to the New York Stock Exchange on April 9, 2026, continuing to trade under the symbol BMNR. According to the company, BMNR ranks as the 133rd most traded stock in the U.S. with average daily trading volume of $857 million over five days.
Chairman Thomas Lee stated the company expects to reach its goal of owning 5% of ETH supply sometime in 2026. Bitmine described itself as the largest ETH treasury globally and the second-largest cryptocurrency treasury after MicroStrategy Inc. (NASDAQ: MSTR).
The announcement referenced pending regulatory developments including the CLARITY Act, which cleared the Senate Banking Committee and awaits a full Senate vote.
