Pioneer Power Solutions Inc. (NASDAQ: PPSI) received a $6 million contract to supply two PRYMUS distributed generation systems to a major package delivery company, the company announced.

The systems will provide prime power to two transit hubs, with delivery expected in the second half of 2026. The deployment will consist of eight paralleled 400 kW natural gas engine sets, two 480 kW battery energy storage systems and related equipment delivered on trailers.

"This $6.0 million PRYMUS award is an important milestone for our Energy-at-the-Edge platform and reflects early commercial traction," said Nathan J. Mazurek, chairman and CEO of Pioneer Power Solutions.

Pioneer launched its PRYMUS distributed power platform in December 2025. The system delivers scalable power blocks ranging from 1 MW to 10 MW and can be deployed and operational within approximately six months, compared to typical utility-grade power timelines of two to three years.

The Fort Lee, New Jersey-based company designs and manufactures distributed energy resources, power generation equipment and mobile electric vehicle charging solutions for utility, industrial and commercial markets.

PRYMUS targets applications including modular data centers, industrial automation and on-premise artificial intelligence computing for sectors such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, finance, research institutions and government facilities.

The contract represents one of the first major awards for the PRYMUS platform since its introduction five months ago, according to the company's press release.
