NYU Langone orders $580,000 of Inspira's ART100 blood circulation systems
Inspira Technologies Oxy B.H.N. Ltd. (NASDAQ: IINN) received a $580,000 purchase order from NYU Langone Hospital for its FDA-cleared ART100 extracorporeal blood circulation systems, the company announced.
The order follows a clinical evaluation at the New York City hospital where ART100 systems were used to treat more than 30 patients across cardiopulmonary and surgical cases. NYU Langone placed the order through Inspira's U.S. distributor, with the systems scheduled for immediate fulfillment.
"NYU Langone's transition from hospital-based evaluation to commercial purchase reflects the operational value of the ART100 platform in real hospital use," said Mike Hershkovitz, VP of Global Sales at Inspira Technologies.
Fred Hill, Director of Extracorporeal Technology at NYU Langone Hospital, said the ART100 demonstrated "flexibility, usability, and economic potential" for extracorporeal support applications.
The ART100 is designed for use in cardiopulmonary bypass procedures and is currently under evaluation at additional U.S. hospitals. NYU Langone is part of NYU Langone Health, which was named to the U.S. News & World Report "Best Hospitals" Honor Roll for 2025-2026.
Inspira stated it is pursuing a strategic process involving multiple parties regarding potential transactions for the ART100 system and other medical assets. The company believes the NYU Langone purchase order provides a commercial reference point for this process.
Based on information from a press release, Inspira Technologies focuses on advanced connectivity and electronics manufacturing solutions, while also advancing its medical technology portfolio including respiratory support and blood monitoring platforms.
