T. Rowe Price names Eric Veiel president in leadership reshuffle

T. Rowe Price Group Inc. (NASDAQ: TROW) announced leadership appointments effective June 1, with Eric Veiel being named president while retaining his role as co-head of Global Investments and chief investment officer.

Rob Sharps will continue as chair and chief executive officer. Sébastien Page, currently head of Global Multi-Asset and chief investment officer, will become co-head of Global Investments and chief investment officer, working alongside Veiel to oversee the firm's investment operations.

Effective October 1, Wyatt Lee will become head of Global Multi-Asset while continuing as head of Target Date Strategies and co-portfolio manager of the target date portfolios. Page will remain acting head of Global Multi-Asset through September 30.

Veiel has been with T. Rowe Price for more than 20 years in senior investment leadership roles. Page brings 25 years of experience in multi-asset investing and solutions. Lee has over 30 years of investment experience and has been with the firm since 1999.

Both Veiel and Page will report to Sharps and remain members of the firm's Management Committee. Lee will be appointed to the Management Committee effective January 1, 2027.

The Baltimore-based asset management firm manages $1.83 trillion in client assets as of April 30, with approximately two-thirds being retirement-related investments. The information was provided in a company press release.
