Jacobs names Cheryl Lim as chief human resources officer
Jacobs (NYSE: J) appointed Cheryl Lim as chief human resources officer, effective May 18, 2026. Lim will be based in Dallas and report to Chair and Chief Executive Officer Bob Pragada.
Lim joins Jacobs from Vertiv Holdings, where she served as chief human resources officer and Section 16 Officer at the $10.2 billion company with approximately 34,000 employees worldwide. During her tenure at Vertiv, she transformed the global HR and talent function and implemented company behaviors aligned with performance outcomes.
Prior to Vertiv, Lim held the position of vice president of human resources at ITT Inc., supporting the Connect & Control Technologies business. She previously spent twenty years at Honeywell International in progressively senior HR leadership roles, including vice president of HR for Europe, the Middle East and Africa and high growth regions, overseeing 45 countries and supporting 35,000 employees.

Lim holds a Master of Business Administration from Pepperdine University and a Bachelor of Arts in German and management studies from the University of Leeds. She is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom.
Jacobs provides end-to-end services in advanced manufacturing, cities & places, energy, environmental, life sciences, transportation and water, with approximately $12 billion in annual revenue and a workforce of approximately 47,000.
