May 15, 2026 8:31 AM

CitroTech Inc. (NYSE AM: CITR) announced a joint venture with Hexion Inc. to accelerate commercialization of fire-retardant treated wood technologies across the lumber and manufactured wood products industry.

The Denver-based specialty chemical company reported first quarter financial results for the period ended March 31, 2026, and provided a business update on its fire inhibitor solutions business.

"CitroTech has reached a meaningful inflection point having transitioned from technology validation to the early stages of commercial deployment," said Wes Bolsen, Chief Executive Officer.

The partnership with Hexion, a producer of adhesives and performance materials, combines Hexion's industry presence with CitroTech's fire-retardant technology platform. The collaboration aims to expand adoption across wood products manufacturers and deliver Class A fire-rated solutions.

CitroTech also formed a strategic partnership with All Terrain Fire Support Inc. to provide fire prevention services to federal, state, and military agencies using what the company describes as the only EPA Safer Choice recognized fire retardant.

The company has initiated commercial sales with lumber and building materials producers to manufacture Class A fire-rated products. CitroTech filed its Form 10-Q for the first quarter with the Securities and Exchange Commission on May 15, 2026.

CitroTech manufactures fire prevention solutions for homes, wood products, and wildfire prevention. The company's products are recognized by the EPA Safer Choice program and tested to UL Greenguard Gold standards.

Management scheduled a conference call for 9 a.m. Eastern Time on May 15, 2026, to discuss the quarterly results with investors.
