May 15, 2026 8:10 AM

The Container Store and Bed Bath & Beyond opened their first co-branded retail location on May 16 at 4601 West Freeway in Fort Worth, Texas, according to a company statement.

The new store format combines The Container Store's organizing solutions and design services with Bed Bath & Beyond's home essentials. The location features products organized by room, expanding The Container Store's kitchen, bath and closet departments with small appliances and textiles while adding dining, bedding and curtains sections.

"By bringing together the strengths of these two iconic brands, we're creating a more connected shopping experience that combines inspiration, organization, solutions and value for customers across every room in the home," said Amy Sullivan, President of Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. (NYSE: BBBY).

Bed Bath & Beyond products will roll out across The Container Store's 98 locations nationwide in phases, as well as online at containerstore.com. The company expects to operate more than 300 stores across multiple formats, including co-branded stores, neighborhood formats, Bed Bath & Beyond Seasonal Living, and buybuy BABY locations.

The Fort Worth opening included promotional activities such as gift cards for early customers, prize drawings, and acceptance of old Bed Bath & Beyond 20% off coupons.

Bed Bath & Beyond, Inc. operates through a portfolio of brands including Bed Bath & Beyond, buybuy BABY, Overstock, and Kirkland's. The company is also pursuing a merger with The Container Store.
